6.2/10

My stay was quite enjoyable, especially for a golf outing with friends. The hotel offered a friendly atmosphere, and the stay-and-play package was reasonably priced. However, there were some hiccups, such as the pool being out of service during my visit and restaurant options that didn't cater to typical American preferences. Overall, it provided a decent experience, but some aspects felt lacking.

Rooms
7.0
The room was nice and comfortable, ideal for relaxing after a long day. However, it did not come with a mini fridge or microwave, which I found surprising given the price.
Service
6.0
Service was pleasant enough, but I faced challenges, especially when I needed assistance with my luggage.
Location
7.0
The location was fairly convenient with proximity to the golf course, but the distance from the lobby was a bit cumbersome.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a mixed bag—while the food was well-prepared, the options were quite niche and not what I expected for a typical meal.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were decent, but the outdoor pool's unavailability was a letdown. The spa amenities were not as highlighted as I would have liked.

5.4/10

I recently stayed at this hotel for a little family getaway and while there were some bright spots, there were definitely several drawbacks that made it less enjoyable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the pool area was quite nice, but we faced numerous issues with our room and amenities that detracted from our overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room we had was quite spacious, but unfortunately, it smelled musty and damp, and the carpet was not in good condition. It felt uncomfortable being in there for too long.
Service
7.0
The staff were very friendly and tried to help with our concerns, providing a complimentary night and tickets to a water park which was nice, but overall service felt overwhelmed.
Location
6.0
While it was a bit of a trek to get to the pools and the advertised private beach was closed for cleaning (making access difficult), the surrounding area had potential for fun activities.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining options inside the hotel were limited and not very appealing, leading us to venture out for meals.
Facilities
5.0
The outdoor pool area was well-designed, but it had maintenance issues during our stay which was disappointing. The indoor pool area felt slick and wasn't comfortable to use.

The resort had some positives like plenty of activities around and the friendly reception staff, but it also had significant drawbacks, such as dated facilities and poor service in dining. The overall experience was marred by communication issues, which led to a lot of confusion and frustration during our stay.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms felt somewhat dated and could definitely use some updates, especially in the bathroom. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief.
Service
5.0
While the reception staff was friendly and accommodating, the dining service was disappointing, as we encountered dirty tables and a lack of attention during our meals.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located near Cedar Point, making it easy to visit the amusement park, but it’s quite a trek to the beach, which could be quite challenging with kids and gear.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the restaurant was underwhelming. Service was slow, and we found the food to be fairly average, which was disappointing given our expectations.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities seem to be in need of some maintenance; the pool was closed at one point, and the hot tub wasn't operational during our stay.

Our stay was quite enjoyable, with clean and comfortable accommodations and friendly staff making us feel welcomed. The location is convenient, being close to local attractions and dining. However, the dining options were limited, and some amenities seemed to be in need of updates. Overall, we appreciated the friendly atmosphere and enjoyed our time at the resort.

The room we stayed in was clean and cozy, featuring a king-sized bed, a mini fridge, and a microwave. However, I wished for a heavier blanket for extra comfort.
Service

The staff was friendly and eager to assist us, although they seemed to be getting used to the new systems, which at times required a bit of patience on our part.
Location
9.0
The hotel is excellently located near various attractions, including Cedar Point, making it convenient for our getaway.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, with the main restaurant not open yet and the prices at the Marketplace being a bit high. The limited food choices available were satisfactory, though.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean and comfy, the service felt unorganized and slow, especially during check-in. The location was a little tricky to navigate, but it was nice to have access to nearby attractions. Dining options were limited and could use improvement. Overall, there were some highlights, but several areas need attention for a better stay.

The location was decent, but finding your way around was a bit complicated, especially when looking for the beach.

The dining options were quite limited, and while I did enjoy a meal at Mulligans Pub, the overall choices felt inadequate during the off-season.
